|
Grievant rec'd a letter from the Supt of Schools informing his of his suspension without pay. The Supt was obviously acting within his authority to temporarily suspend the grievant but had a subsequent duty to bring the matter before the Board as soon as possible. The BOE was never presented with a list of charges and never gave its approval of the suspension. Grievance Granted; failure of the Supt of Schools to present to the CBOE the reasons for the suspension of a school employee and obtain approval thereof vitiates said suspension.
