Synopsis
|
r alleges he was improperly evaluated when his principal cited his grade distribution and a plan of improvement to give less D's and F's. CONCLUSION: Policy 5311 permits the inclusion of indicators such as teacher grading for review by an evaluator. School officials comply with the open and honest provisions of Policy 5300 when a teacher has had ample notice of a particular deficiency problem relating to his teaching which may be used as an indicator for a performance standards. The ESEGB will not intrude into evaluations unless there is evidence of abuse of discretion.
