Synopsis
|
Grievant mine inspector alleged favoritism when assigned a new inspection region requiring him to travel further from his home. Code 22A-1A-7 requires that inspectors designate places of abode convenient to the inspection areas. No DOE policy requires inspectors to live within certain districts. Evidence showed various inspectors traveled different distances, and thus grievant failed to prove any favoritism toward other DOE inspectors, or any unfair treatment.
