18A-4-16(4) prohibits the posting and advertising of a teaching position jointly with an extracurricular position. CB posted a Social Studies Teacher/Varsity Football Coach position in violation of this statute. The posting was declared null and void and the appointment was held to be void and the position was deemed vacant. School laws are to be strictly construes in favor of the employee. Smith v. Logan CB, 351 S.E.2d 685 (1985).
