Synopsis
|
Grievant contends that, since she has been a substitute longer than the successful candidate and is equally qualified, she was entitled to a music teaching position. DECISION: DENIED. Grievant's argument regarding seniority need not be addressed since she failed to establish she was equally qualified as the successful candidate. Particularly, Grievant ignores the fact that the successful candidate had six years' experience teaching music in another county. State ex rel. Oser v. Haskins, 374 S.E.2d 184 (W. Va. 1988).
