Synopsis
|
Grievants are employed as Custodians III and allege that they were directed to mow thirteen acres of grass using a John Deere tractor. Grievants additionally allege that mowing the grass is not within the job description of Custodian III. The responsibilities of custodian, groundsman and watchman increase as they advance in classification. There is no statutory prohibition in requiring an employee to perform duties in a lower classification so long as there is no reduction in classification of pay.
