|
Prior to the non-renewal of her probationary contract, grievant had been employed as an early childhood education aide. Grievant alleges a violation in that her release from employment was improper according to employee reduction in force mandates and/or procedurally deficient as she was not accorded a timely hearing. DECISION: The school board did not conduct a hearing within the thirty days as required. Probationary employees not retained for further employment shall be notified of the board's action and, upon the employee's request, conduct a hearing before the board within thirty days of the request showing the reasons for the nonrehiring
