Synopsis
|
Grievant alleges that her 240 day contract had been improperly reduced to 200 days. By letter of 3/1/88 grievant was informed by the Supt that he would recommend to the Bd that she be placed on the transfer list due to the closing of the Career Center and that she had a right to a transfer hearing. Grievant did not request a hearing and the Bd accepted the Superintendents' recommendation. Grievance granted; the BOE violated the provisions of 18A-2-6 when it reduced grievant's contract after giving notice and an opportunity to a hearing pursuant to 18A-2-7.
