Synopsis
|
Grievant alleges a violation of the uniformity provisions of W.Va. Code 18A-4-5a because she was not paid for being a sponsor of a club while sponsors of two other clubs were given extra-curricular pay for their sponsorships. DECISION: DENIED. Grievant's sponsorship of the club was totally voluntary. In contrast, the other two clubs were school-sponsored and the sponsorships were positions Respondent filled after posting. Since Respondent took no action whatsoever regarding Grievant's club and her sponsorship, there was no unfair treatment and no violation of Code 18A-4-5a.
