Synopsis
|
Grievant employed bus operator alleges violation of W.Va. Code 18A-4-8a, when his assigned route was changed without his permission during the school year. Grievant and all bus operators were advised that their runs might be changed as a result of declining enrollment. Confusion in grievant's work schedule was corrected in the first week of school. DECISION: The clarification of a work schedule within the first week of school does not constitute a change in work schedule as contemplated by W.Va. Code 18A-4-8a. DENIED: it is incumbent upon the Grievant to prove the allegations of the grievance by a preponderance of the evidence.
