Synopsis
|
Grievants, central office secretaries, grieve the assignment, without posting, of one secretary to seven hours' per week overtime calling substitutes. After this case was filed at Level I, all overtime was eliminated due to Governor's budget cuts. DECISION: DENIED. Even though Respondent should have posted the overtime work, an extra-curricular assignment, its deletion of the same was for appropriate reasons and grievants' sought remedy of posting is not available. Further, neither of Grievants established that she should have been selected for the job had it been posted.
