Synopsis
|
The level two evaluator found that the coaches pay policy had not been uniformly applied in one instance and ordered the coach who received too large a supplement to repay the money rather than also pay the Grievant a larger supplement in violation of the policy and the uniformity statute. Grievant appealed seeking the payment of the larger supplement. Where CB acknowledges its error and renders a decision in Grievant's favor, the Grievant must demonstrate the error in the lower level decision. The purpose of the grievance procedure is not to punish a CB for good faith errors but to provide a fair and equitable remedy.
