Synopsis
|
Grievant was employed as a teacher and was dismissed on charges of willful neglect of duty, incompetency and insubordination. Grievant exhibited difficulties in his profession role and remedial efforts were attempted by the school principal through various plans of assistance. While grievant completed the activities the overall performance did not improve and Grievant failed to complete his last plan of assistance.
DECISION: The BOE proved that Grievant was incompetent and subject to dismissal and was in compliance with Policy 5300 by affording him the opportunity to correct his behavior.
