Synopsis
|
Gr is employed as a teacher and as head basketball coach. Under the terms of the agreements with the BOE, football coaches are paid $1,100 for their services beginning in August. Basketball coaches are paid $1100 for their coaching contracts plus three days during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays when school is not in session. Grievance denied; the nature of the sport of football is inherently and substantially different from that of basketball and while coaches of both sports adhere to some common goals and practices, the two do not perform like assignments and duties.
