Synopsis
|
The grievance, alleging a failure to pay the same salary supplement to all employees for several prior years sought back pay for four prior years, remedy was limited to the school year in which the grievance was filed. The examiner concluded that the grievants knew or should have known of the grievance and, therefore, were not entitled to some four years of retroactive supplemental pay they were inadvertently not paid. The S.Ct. affirmed the circuit court's result in large part and found the grievants were entitled to most of the back pay.
